UPDATE SEPTEMBER 2021

Hello everyone,

As you might be aware the workshop of 191 studio is currently under renovation, but will re-open this academic year (2021/22). It is a new and bright space that will make our future classes better and will also be available to other societies in Trinity. We hope that Trinity allow indoor events soon, so that we can get back to that place and the pottery studio. Until then, we can only offer online, off-campus or outdoor classes (in the gazebos on campus), which makes it much harder for external teachers to get access to campus and organise regular classes. We are doing our best to make all that happen anyways, but especially for pottery, some of the previous fun (including using the wheel) will only be possible when we go back to indoor events. However, we will offer drawing classes, watercolour colours, a portrait-drawing club, one-off workshops in clay modelling and also social events. Please let us know if you’re a Trinity staff member or student and you would like to teach a workshop or if you want to see a specific genre or theme, we want to offer what you want to see!
Thank you to everyone for their patience during restrictions and committee changes! Thank you thank you thank you!

We would like to thank the TCD Association & Trust for the funding they have provided us this year. The TCD Association & Trust provides grant support for a wide variety of College projects where funding is not available from mainstream resources. Its committee, with administrative support from Trinity Foundation, is made up of Trinity graduates who operate on a volunteer basis.

One of the main sources of funding for the TCD Association & Trust comes from the TCD Affinity Credit Card. With over 10,000 cardholders to date, a percentage of the annual turnover on these cards is donated back to College by Bank of Ireland.
