As you might be aware the workshop of 191 studio is currently under renovation, but will re-open this academic year (2021/22). It is a new and bright space that will make our future classes better and will also be available to other societies in Trinity. We hope that Trinity allow indoor events soon, so that we can get back to that place and the pottery studio. Until then, we can only offer online, off-campus or outdoor classes (in the gazebos on campus), which makes it much harder for external teachers to get access to campus and organise regular classes. We are doing our best to make all that happen anyways, but especially for pottery, some of the previous fun (including using the wheel) will only be possible when we go back to indoor events. However, we will offer drawing classes, watercolour colours, a portrait-drawing club, one-off workshops in clay modelling and also social events. Please let us know if you’re a Trinity staff member or student and you would like to teach a workshop or if you want to see a specific genre or theme, we want to offer what you want to see! Thank you to everyone for their patience during restrictions and committee changes!
Thank you thank you thank you!
Join us at the TAW studio on the 3rd of April 2018 at 6pm for our end of year exhibition where you will be able to come and see the artworks made by the students from the classes.

Over the course of the workshop students will learn how to successfully turn their designs into screen print images using three techniques on their screens. They should expect to have three editions of prints to take home with them.
You will be amazed how quickly you pick up the essential skills to print your own designs. Check out our student gallery of prints atwww.screenexpressions.com to see for yourself. The work done by these students is amazing and this was their first introduction to the process.
All material and equipment are provided (except printing paper)
There are eleven places on the course and please contact me if you would like to book a spot. A deposit is required to hold a place and the balance of fee for the 6 week workshop can be paid the first night of class.
Look forward to seeing,
Just a quick notice that the double classes for €15 are no longer available.
Thank you for your participation in the classes, everyone! Just a quick reminder that pottery classes have now ended for the Summer and will resume in the first week of September. More information will be out soon.
We’re grateful to all the students who allowed us to showcase their work as part of the Trinity Arts Workshop Exhibition 2016. It’s been a year filled with beauty and creativity and we were so pleased to be able to provide a platform for our budding artists and potters to exhibit their finished pieces. Many thanks to all who packed 191 Pearse Street to the rafters on the opening night, to those who visited to soak up the art in the following days and of course, to the teachers who helped to facilitate it all. We hope to see you all in the last few classes before the end of this semester!
Trinity Arts Workshop will be holding their Annual End of Year Exhibition at 191 Pearse Street, opening with a wine reception on Thursday March 31st from 6.30pm-8pm. The exhibition will include works of art created by our members from throughout the academic year, and will run until Saturday 2nd April. The opening hours for the exhibition on both Friday 1st April and Saturday 2nd of April will be 11am-3pm.
Come along to de-stress, admire some art, and indulge in some wine and cheese!
