The Trinity Arts Workshop timetable for the Academic Year 2021/22:

Until indoor events can resume, our classes will run on a workshop-basis, meaning that some of them will be very regular (e.g. weekly), whereas others will be one-off workshops or at least change themes.

Our classes will include drawing/ink drawing, watercolour, clay modelling, life drawing (esp. portraits) and social events. Other styles and themes are currently in the planning phase, but please let us know what you want to see this year ! 🙂

All Classes are held in Studio 191 on Pearse St. opposite O’Neills Pub, except Ceramics which is held in the Pottery Studio in Goldsmith Hall.

(currently all online our in gazebos on campus)

To join the Trinity Arts Workshop, sign up through the CSC sign-up hub.

Membership costs €2 for the year.

Some classes will have an extra fee to cover materials, while many will be free to members.

  1. Hi my name is Andrew Meagher and I am 16 and in Transition Year. Am I eligible for the Saturday morning Life Drawing class

  2. Hi,
Are there any classes during the day, ie, 11am to 5pm between June 17 and 26? (not the weekend)

    1. Hi Sucita,

Classes normally end around the middle of June and do not resume until September. The exact finishing dates are dependent on each teacher so if you are interested in a particular class it might be worth sending them an email directly, classes may be on during your requested dates. Since term has ended the timetables are not as routine as they usually are. Each teacher’s email can be found in the “classes” tab under the particular one of interest.

  3. Hi, Could you tell me if there will be a painting class on Friday evenings. I used to attend the classes on Friday 2012- 2013. Would love to start up again and I have a few friends who would love to join me.

    1. Hi Barbara,

At present, Trinity Arts Workshop runs two painting classes per week. An Acrylic class runs on Sundays 5-7pm and on Tuesdays, there is a Watercolour class from 7-9pm.

Please check out our Timetable, under the timetable tab for more details or alternatively, you can follow this link for more information on the painting classes offered. https://trinityartsworkshop.com/painting/

      Kind regards,

  4. Hi,

I am wondering what materials should be brought along for the life drawing classes? i.e own pencils, charcoal, paper….etc…

    Kind regards,

    1. Hi Steven,

Thanks very much for your message. All materials are included in the classes but if you would like to bring extra materials such as your own charcoal or pencils, you are more than welcome although it is not necessary.

  7. Hi,

I would like to attend the drawing class on Friday evening. I have a few questions on this:
    – Are classes still on for this year? When will the last class be?
    – If I attend one class and pay for the year membership, can I then attend other classes as well and maybe mix them up (for example, one week life drawing then print making etc.)?

Thanks so much in advance for your reply,

    1. Most classes are still on, the last day of the classes will vary depending on the class but most of them will finish around the end of May.
Unfortunately we don’t have yearly membership. To join the Trinity Arts Workshop it is €5 and each class costs certain amount which varies depending on the class. Once you become a member you can drop into any of these classes and pay for the specific class fee which you can find on our website in the “classes” section.
